E-Learning Course on Sustainable Development

Framework:
The main issue/question will be the sustainability of schools, good practices in each school community and integration of environmental themes in the curriculum.

Goals:
The overall goal of the course is to share the key knowledge for the promotion of environmental education for sustainability and training 300 teachers in the various areas of sustainable development and low carbon economy.

Pedagogical methods:
Videos (interviews) about different themes, powerpoint presentations, documents and books of reference to study each theme, tests, hands-on activities to implement at classroom and links to projects and sites of interest to teachers.

Trainers:
Margarida Gomes, National Coordinator of Eco-Schools, ABAE, more than 20 years teaching environmental education and implementing environmental projects in thousands of schools;

Marta Almeida, Coordinator of Interreg SUDOE ClimACT project, IST;

and about 10 specialists will give interviews about ClimACT topics.

Certificate:
Each trainee will receive a digital certificate.
